Join Jeanne Wiger on a transformational journey. This workshop guides you to a better understanding of the feminine aspect of who you are and your purpose in life. Learning with other travelers will build a healthy and interdependent community based on the wholeness of each individual. This workshop promotes healing and an understanding of the power of the feminine energy within each of us.

The 36 inch Sacred Hoops began their journey as cedar hoops made by Ojibwe women the the late 1800s. The hoops were used to carry birch bark and wild rice. The eight hoops drifted from the bottom of the lake to the shore in front of Jeanne's lake cabin. She created unique paintings within the hoops to honor the grandmothers who made them and to represent the feminine stages and phases of life.

Each hoop is a complete work. Either side of the hoop is a study in itself, dealing with a different aspect of life. There is no front or back, but a continuum of life. The imagery of the Spirit Hoops is rich with cultural symbols and archetypes, particularly the ancient feminine.

The hoops depict each of the eight directions and represent a time of day, season of the year and aspect of life. The hoops are hung in a circle and the energies of the stages and phases of the feminine journey interweave with each other. The stages are Conception, Birth, Childhood and Adolescence. The phases are Sexuality, Empowerment, Spirituality and Death.
